All our lessons are private one on one, and our instructors Do Not answer phones or work the floor. They are in the lesson rooms for your instruction, they are not sales staff. We feel that the student should get the most out of their investment. Our teachers are knowledgeable in all aspects of their business however and can answer questions regarding equipment, or other questions about the music industry and have full support from the store in offering non-biased answers, if the student wishes to ask during their lesson. Very often we have guests for our workshops who will teach private lessons as well while they are in town for their workshop please let us know if you want to arrange a private lesson with them at that time.

Our lesson rate is $17.50 per 1/2 hr. lesson block, and 2 lessons can be combined into 1 hr. blocks as well. To schedule a lesson please call us at the store and we will arrange a time for you.

Arbutus Music Lesson Policy:

We would first like to welcome you into our lesson program. Due to the popularity of our teachers, our student enrollment has increased dramatically. My teachers' schedules are very full and they do not have as much room for rescheduling. To make sure everyone is kept happy, there are few guidelines for or students to follow to keep the program running smooth.

• All students must pay, on or before the last lesson they have paid for, for the next lesson block to hold their spot.
  
  
• The store or teacher must be given a minimum of 24 hours notice on the cancellation of a lesson or the lesson will be charged. For extreme cases this can be reviewed at the discretion of the teacher.
  
  
• The lesson times are exact and can only be adjusted by the teacher, if the student is late, he/she will not get time added on the end of their normally scheduled lesson.
  
  
• My teachers are paid in advance, so lessons must be paid in minimum of one month increments, preferably with 3 post dated cheques.
